Met Drew Fuller again!
2012 | Personal

Kim and I were able to meet up with Drew on November 26th in Los Angeles. We chatted for 2 hours about lots of things, including his career. We can officially say he is NOT returning to “Army Wives”. At the end of our time together, he followed us to our car and we were finally able to gave him the birthday project presents! He was super appreciative as always of all his fans and their support. He also mentioned he answered every single fan letter that came to him while shooting “Army Wives”. We will be getting a new fan mail address soon.
Before we left, Kim and I had a special present made just for him. We held onto it for over a year to give it to him. So what to get a guy that has everything? We had the pleasure of spending some time with Drew’s beautiful dog Tennessee while on location in Charleston in 2009. So an idea sprung and we commissioned a beautiful painting of Tennessee with lots of help from both Mama Fuller and a very talented local artist in Charleston named Missy. When Drew unwrapped his painting, he was stunned. We will NEVER forget the look, the smile that never left his face when he opened it. He made a point of telling us never to buy him another thing after this. It was very special to him and will have a special place on his wall.
We were also able to pose for a few pics and Drew decided to pose for a funny one of himself alone which you can see in the gallery. It was so great to meet up with Drew again. I can’t believe it had already been 2 years since we last saw him. We also enjoyed having lunch with Mama and Papa Fuller last week. Kim and I have met them so many times since 2009, we have actually lost count. We adore them just as much as their son, and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving holiday so memorable!

Met Riley Smith yet again!
| Personal

On November 26th, my best friend Kim and I had the pleasure of meeting Riley again for coffee in Los Angeles, CA. Even though he was spending Thanksgiving with his family, he still took time out of his day to chat with us. I feel so blessed to have met Riley for the first time this year and on three different occasions. He is such a fantastic guy and I’m truly honored to run my site for him. I will be seeing him again in January at his album release party. Can’t wait!

Met Riley Smith again!
2012 | Personal, Site

On October 15th, I met Riley again for coffee in Los Angeles, CA. He’s been super busy with filming “90210″ and working on the new TLoR album, but he was still so kind to take time out of his day to meet up with me. My friend Lynn came along with me, as we took the trip together, and she got to meet Riley as well. She is a now a new fan of his and is looking forward to checking out all his projects and music. Thanks again Riley! You are truly wonderful. It’s always such a pleasure to sit down and talk with you. Hope to see you again in the near future.

Finally met Josh Bowman!
| Personal, Site

I was able to meet Josh for the first time at the Puma Project Pink Celebrity Soccer Match on October 13th. My friend Lynn and I arrived at LAX and then I drove us straight to the game. We got there about 20 minutes late, and I noticed Josh out on the field immediately. We sat down and watched the game for several minutes. When Josh went to the sidelines to take a break, I got his attention from up in the bleachers. I told him I ran his site, he thanked me, and then reached out his hand to hold mine for a moment. I asked him if I could meet up with him afterwards, and he agreed. Once the action-packed game was over, all the fans were given the chance to get autographs and photos with the celebs. There were so many fans, so I was afraid I wouldn’t get to talk to Josh again before he left. When it looked like he was about ready to leave, my friend Lynn convinced me to just run up and see him. I got his attention again and he came over to talk with me for a few minutes. He asked me where I lived and if I came all this way just to see him. My friend Lynn took several great photos of us before he had to leave. Josh was so appreciative of the site and made me feel extra special, even with all the other fans around. When he got into the golf cart to leave, he smiled at me, put his hand on his heart, and then pointed right at me. Since the site will be online 1 year next month, it was such an honor to finally meet him. Thanks Josh for making my day!

Met Daniel Gillies again!

Last Tuesday, Lynn and I attended the “Broken Kingdom” Cast/Crew Screening in Los Angeles. We were both so honored to be there in support of not only Daniel, but everyone who helped make “Broken Kingdom” possible. I had actually waited to watch the film until that very night. Daniel was impressed by my willpower! It was worth the wait because it’s such an amazing and moving film. Daniel’s lovely wife Rachael Leigh Cook chatted with us a few times throughout the night too. It was so great to meet her again. We also met Jason Kirkham and John Lyons Murphy, who are producers of the film. They are both such wonderful guys and were so kind to us. After watching the film, we all walked to a local cafe/bar down the street. Daniel had so many people to catch up with as he hadn’t seen some of them in years. He still took the time to talk with us whenever he could. Lynn and I had such an incredible evening. Lots of wonderful memories we’ll never forget! Be sure to check out Lynn’s great summary of the evening here.

Finally met Riley Smith!
2012 | Personal, Site

On April 6th, My best friend Kim and I had the pleasure of meeting Riley and his mom for coffee in Los Angeles, CA. Since the site first opened back in 2010, we had kept in contact via email, but had yet to meet in person. For about 1 1/2 hours, we talked about his past, current, and upcoming film projects, his music, the cool kickstarter he’ll be launching soon, and more. He was also so kind to answer any questions I had. We really enjoyed talking to his mom and getting to know her as well. It was so great she could join us while visiting him for Easter weekend.
Riley loved the Iowa Hawkeyes leather necklace I got him for his birthday and put it on immediately. It looks so great on him in the photos! Riley gave me some The Life of Riley merchandise, which was so sweet. He also took the time to sign some 8×10 photos I brought with me. He personalized both mine and Kim’s and also signed some others.
Before Riley and his mom left, we took some photos with him before giving them both a hug goodbye. It was so wonderful to finally meet Riley. He’s such a fantastic guy and I’m really looking forward to seeing him again in the future.
PS: I feel so blessed! I have now met all the actors I run fan sites for except for Josh. I’m really hoping to change that next year. I’m so honored to run fan sites for Drew, Matt, Riley, Daniel and Josh. They are such amazing guys, and have made all my hard work even more worthwhile.
